Harvester Head: H412

The Waratah H412 represents the next generation of Waratah harvester heads. This compact head is made for small wheeled and tracked machines. With its powerful feed, accurate measuring, and excellent delimbing performance, the H412 combines the advantages of two-and four-wheel-drive harvester heads. Its compact size makes it highly maneuverable in dense thinning stands, and its multi-tree-handling equipment is ideal for energy wood harvesting.

The H412 harvester head is characterized by its powerful, slip-free four-wheel-drive feed with four hydraulic feed motors. The proven EV02 valve provides efficient hydraulic oil flow and head control. The mainframe is machined after being welded as one piece for high durability and dimensional accuracy. Three moving delimbing knives, along with one fixed top knife and one fixed back knife, follow the contours of the stem.

The efficient SuperCut 100 saw unit provides fast cutting cycles and a maximum felling diameter of 18.5 in. (470 mm). The SuperCut saw unit’s automatic chain lubrication and tensioning improves cutting performance and reduces maintenance time.
